Some people dont want to go through the trouble of having to download the actual program and do some programming themselves is all ^^'
And you NEED the actual program to run the shimejis, so...
The zip link you provided doesnt have the .exe file in it, which is why many people say it isn't working.
I'm not 100% sure on how shimeji's work so correct me if i'm wrong, but for yours to work you would have to download another shimeji, export the 46 image files to a folder, make another folder in the img folder of the other shimeji and paste in the image files to that folder. But even then you would have two or more shimejis per one zip file.
Having more than one shimeji in the file wont affect it strangely, I have them in seperate folders all in the original "img" folder that you find. And thats a good way to organize them as when you open the exe you can still quite easily just select them as the file of course organizes everything. and not many people actually have complained about it not working, not as many people as there are people asking me for links to shimejis that a person took down, so I refuse to give the link of.
